Slow Release Energy Biscuits
These plant-based, sweet ‘shortbread - style’ format, snacks have been engineered to be digested slowly and provide sustained dextrose (glucose) release into the blood stream for up to five hours. An initial release of glucose within ninety minutes elevates low blood glucose (hypoglycaemia) is followed by slow and sustained glucose release over many hours (meal to meal for example or during sleep if consumed before bed).
The development of DexSteady® has evolved over many years to create products that are delicious to eat whilst providing fuel for immediate needs and in a sustained fashion over many hours. The body requires glucose as the critical energy source. DexSteady® provides glucose.
